Well Last Wednesday I represented the Hauraki cluster in Thames Valley swimming sports against other schools from all around the Coromandel. I was pretty nervous for my first race,event 20 1 length Backstroke and I had butterfly's in my stomach but it was all worth it because I got first by 2 seconds witch I was very proud of.A while after that I was waiting for event 38 4 lengths freestyle and I was a little bit nervous before it even started because I wanted to get a good place.Event 38 started and I was no nervous at all bu I ended up losing well 7 but I was versing some tough people in the fast heat.After that race I had to wait for about an hour till my final race and it was 2 lengths freestyle and I was fine not nervous at all after the 2 other races and I got 3 in that race and I was happy with that for the final race.
