Drama

For term 1 and a bit of term 2 my class the Incredible minds has had drama every Monday and Tuesday in the afternoon for 40 minutes. We do drama to gain confidence, learn how to show facial expressions and to play a role as someone your not by acting out what they do.Drama also helps to collaborate with each other and get to know one other a bit better and to gain confidence in performing in an act or in a skit.Drama has five elements Role,Action,Time,Tension and Setting those are the five elements of drama and this is what they mean.Role means what character you play and playing that part in the play,Action means movement what you do in the scene,Time is when you move it's the timing that they got to get right,Tension means the actors/actresses are building tension in the audience and setting means the place in a movie is set or what time it was in the movie.Going to the drama sessions is really cool because I can show people what I can do with acting and performing. In drama I gained a little bit more confidence in performing in front of an audience and to show my creativity in different ways that I don't often use.I really enjoy drama because I like acting and doing skits with a picked group, but also just doing what you think of like a superhero you could act out as that superhero and that's why I enjoy drama.
